GEDCOM Searches
GEDCOM searches are able to provide search results on all individuals (up to 10,000) included in a GEDCOM file that you upload to our site. You may choose to search all entries the file at the same time, or you can perform searches one at a time. GEDCOM searches provide several benefits over individual searches:

• More accurate date estimation based on an individual's parents and children.
• Place estimation.
• Additional information such as residence, census records, immigration date, etc. can be used for increased accuracy.

A full GEDCOM search can typically be completed within three days, though this depends on the number of individuals in the file.
